When sisters Jacklyn and Cassie Collier launched The Bundle Game, their goal was simple: create a way for people to connect, laugh, and share stories. What began as a lighthearted conversation game for friends and families soon grew into a phenomenon — with themed versions for everything from wedding showers to the Hallmark Channel.
But as their company evolved, so did their understanding of what it means to be in business together. “We started noticing that the challenges of being in a family business are just… different,” Jacklyn explains. “When it’s family, everything’s more personal. The highs are higher, and the lows can hit harder.”
Cassie adds, “We realized that all those early experiences we had as sisters — sharing a bedroom, sharing clothes, learning to compromise — actually made us pretty good at conflict resolution. Going into business together was the easy part.”
That realization led to their latest creation: The Family Business Bundle, a collaboration with NxtGen Nexus designed to help family businesses strengthen communication, celebrate their legacy, and even laugh through their differences.
From Play to Purpose
As The Bundle Game gained popularity, the sisters began to see reflections of their own experience in other entrepreneurial families. They often talked with NxtGen Nexus founder Allen Esrock about the unique complexities of family enterprises — how the issues families face can become magnified when a business is involved, and how business challenges feel even more personal when they include the people you love most.
That intersection — where love, legacy, and logistics collide — became the inspiration for The Family Business Bundle.
A Game with Heart (and Humor)
Like every version of The Bundle Game, the heart of The Family Business Bundle lies in its cards — each designed to spark laughter, connection, and meaningful moments.
The game includes four types of cards:
- Name 4 – Quick-thinking prompts that get players shouting out lists of answers (“Name four things your family business couldn’t survive without”).
- Act It Out – A charades-style round where players mime out moments every family business can relate to — like “your sibling interrupts a meeting to talk about dinner plans.”
- Challenge – Mini tasks or playful dares that keep things lively and interactive, testing teamwork and communication skills.
- Pick Your Destiny – Like a Monopoly-style chance card, these add a twist of fate: “Your family reunion doubles as a company retreat — move ahead one space.”
There are multiple ways to play Bundle: Family Business Edition — all designed with family businesses in mind:
- Family Business Edition (non-personalized) – The classic version of the game, filled with fun and thoughtful prompts that any family business can enjoy. Perfect for sparking conversation and connection across generations.
- Family Business Edition (personalized) – A fully customized edition with questions, inside jokes, and photos tailored to your specific family business — making every round uniquely yours.
- Holiday Zoom Edition (personalized) – Created for family businesses and teams that can’t gather in person but still want to connect, laugh, and reflect together through play.

Where Family Meets Business
The Collier sisters’ partnership with NxtGen Nexus represents more than a new product launch — it’s a reflection of how families can turn everyday dynamics into strengths. “Family businesses are built on history and heart,” Cassie says. “We just wanted to create something that helps people remember that — and maybe laugh a little along the way.”
For the Colliers, The Family Business Bundle is more than a game; it’s a mirror of their own journey — one filled with creativity, collaboration, and the occasional disagreement that ends in laughter.
As Jacklyn puts it, “At the end of the day, it’s not about winning. It’s about connection — and that’s what family, and business, are really all about.”
